Having a large amount of spare time now until October when I start my second year of university I intended to get stuck in with 3D work and learn the software inside and out to have a good head start when I went back. Whilst not being as motivated as I had hoped I have had time to look into a few things and brainstorm some possible future projects for when the time is right.
In particular I was interested in looking into plugins and extras for 3Ds Max that would help me produce things in a much more efficient manner, for instance, procedural generation addons.
Ghosttown is one of these. With a few button clicks you are able to produce a very nice city block complete with high poly facades and textures. All inbuilt into the program there is also a lot of room for editing where you can add your own textures as well as completely edit the generated model, as with any other in Max.

I only had a brief look at this, but I could see the potential for using it to make a simple backdrop for a scene in a shorter period of time or a fully detailed cityscape usable in a multitude of situations.Simple script for renaming Material and objects.

Just right click in list view to select objects
To install script
1. Run script 'Material and Objects renamer_v1.0.ms'
2. Go to Customize - Customize User Interface
3. Find 'Material_renamer' under 'Sharad Tools'
4. Assign shortcut for it.
Simple script for renaming files on HardDrive.
It also collects all the bitmaps in the scene.
Default collection folder is 'new folder' on 'D' drive.
If folder is not there script will create folder 'new folder' on D drive.
Also you can choose custom folder to collect and rename files.
To install script

3. Find 'Drive_files_Renamer' under 'Sharad Tools'
4. Assign shortcut for it.
Its simple script for adding Visibility keys.
It also has functionality to delete all animation keys in scene.
Window box is a script (and tutorial) to show you how you can use Dotnet and Win32 methods to get back dialogs you have lost from using multiple monitors.

Fixed an issue with monitor data, it now centers correctly on all screens. Sorry for the delay in finding that one.
Spring Max is a tool that use to create bone chain animation in 3Ds Max
Randomize the material IDs for the segments in your spline shapes.
Set random material IDs for the selected splines, either using the existing IDs or specifying a range of IDs.
Compatible with 3dsMax 2012 and higher.
This is simple script for renaming and managing objects on the go.
To install script Just
1. Unzip 'Quick Manager v1.0.rar'
2. Keep 'MyLibrary.mat' to that folder if you are going to keep that folder.
If you are going to delete that folder, then put 'MyLibrary.mat' to following location - 'C:Program FilesAutodesk3ds Max 2017materiallibraries'
