Students, employees and visitors MUST obtain and display a parking permit in their vehicle when parking on campus.
Register Your Vehicle: Students and Employee MUST register vehicle online.
1) First, login to myTSU using your TSU network login
2) Select 'Banner Services'
3) Select 'TSU Parking System'...and click on 'Proceed to T2 Parking'
Parking permits will be mailed to campus mailboxes or preferred (home) addresses. After registering your vehicle(s) online, to get your parking permit you MUST:
1) Register your vehicle through your Parking Account. Log into MyTSU, choose Banner Services, then go to TSU Parking System.
2) Upload your copies of your current vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
3) Fill out the Parking Permit Delivery form to indicate the address to mail your permit. Click the 'Permit Delivery Form' link below:

General or Reserved Permits
University-issued Disability Permit (For persons with valid state-issued disability placards)
** Remember to upload the required documents to receive your parking permit by mail, as noted above.
Visitor Permits
Visitors can obtain a visitor permit to park on campus. For convenience, the Merritt Plaza parking lot, located at John Merritt Blvd & 33rd Avenue No. (across from the airplane) has a section for visitor parking. Visitors can use the kiosk to purchase hourly parking at $1.00/ hour. Also, complementary visitor permits can be obtained from the Security booth at John Merritt & 33rd Avenue North.
Students Permits (Decals)
Student decals MUST be permanently affixed to the inside front windshield in the lower left corner (driver's side), 6 to 12 inches from the dashboard to be valid. The decal must be visible and cannot be obstructed. Failure to permanently affix the decal to the windshield will result in the vehicle being cited for failure to display parking permit.
Employee Permits (Hangtags)
Employee hangtags must be properly displayed and clearly visible from the front rear view mirror of the vehicle.
Parking permits are valid from September 1 to August 31 of the following year. Parking permits for the new academic year are available for sale during the last week in August. The cost of one parking permit for students is included in tuition fees. Employee parking permit is $60.00 for general permits, $150.00 for reserved permits and $180.00 for gated reserved permits. Note: Reserved and gated parking spaces are limited. Please contact the Parking Services office for availability of reserved or gated parking spaces and if desired, to be added to the waitlist.
The University requires all students, faculty or staff who have a state-issued disability permit to obtain a Tennessee State University-issued disability parking permit. Both permits must be properly displayed when parking on campus.
Students, faculty and staff applying for a disability parking permit must bring a their actual disability placard, disability permit registration form, vehicle registration form and driver's license when picking up your University-issued disability parking permit.
Hale Stadium parking lots may be preempted for events, especially home Football, special events and Commencement.

Signs will be posted at the entrance to the affected parking lots at least 1 day in advance, with the date(s) of the restriction. Vehicles will be ticketed, and may be towed, if they remain in the parking lot after the posted restriction begins.
